I believe supporting families in the time postpartum is not only beneficial for mothers but also their partners and other family members. Allowing your body time to heal and adjusting to your new role as a mother can be emotionally and physically demanding. The care I provide is unique to you and your preferences.
A doula is not a medical professional and will not perform clinical tasks. A doula cannot treat or diagnose specific medical conditions or concerns for mother or baby. A doula does not make decisions on your behalf. We will provide you with the information and community resources necessary to help you and your partner make informed decisions.
An hour of in home or virtually consulting
With this package you can choose to use your hours for in home support or virtual support sessions. If you choose to be a strictly virtual based client, you can schedule video calls for a minimum of one hour at a time. After each virtual session you will be emailed a summary of the call and any resources discussed. The On-Call support for 6 weeks is for phone call (no video calling), text or email support only. It is limited to one (one hour) phone call a week with an emailed summary of resources discussed OR email/texting on demand with an understanding that it may take up to 24 hours to receive a reply (depending on the time of day/night the message is received). You can make a decision week-by-week on how you would like use your time.
