“I am a mother of three children, two dogs, one horse and a cat. I am a certified Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist. I completed my certification through the Isla-Grace Sleep Coaching Program.
I am a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT), a babywearing specialist and a postpartum doula. Some previous work experience that I bring into this new role includes working in home with families while they navigate the first year of parenthood, many years volunteering in crisis intervention with Victim Services as well as a career as a legal assistant, where I learned both compassion and professionalism.
In working with families in my role as a postpartum doula, I found that most conversations would always circle back to sleep. Sleep became one of the primary concerns, struggles and areas in which many families needed help and support. This hands on experience motivated me to invest in a sleep certification that would provide me with the knowledge and the tools to help support families using a gentle, evidence based approach that would honour their needs and help cultivate strong attachment relationships.
